Hi,
I would like to get your opinion what an ideal user interface design course should be? I am currently teaching Flash actionscript for this course to extend interactivity and user experience, plus we discuss usability issues, visual esthetics, information architecture, and functionality (to keep it alive). I have been reflecting assignments on kiosk, vending machine interface and website design.

Other people suggest that it should not involve scripting at all, and it should be targeted to all aspects of user interface design like interface for a washing machine to a car dash board.

This 3 credit course is housed in the multimedia design (not industrial design) concentration.

Please advise
Thank you for your input.
